Report Finds Wind Turbine Blades Could Damage O’Connell ANZAC Memorial Avenue

Residents of O’Connell are urging proponents of the Paling Yards Wind Farm south of Oberon to find another route to transport wind turbine blades.

The current transport route would run through the O’Connell Memorial Avenue of Trees, and a report commissioned by the proponents has found some trees could be damaged in the transportation process.
