New OzTag Competition to Begin in Bathurst

Organisers of an OzTag competition coming to Bathurst say it’s been good to see strong interest in the Central West following school clinics in the region.

The sport is starting in Bathurst from September 17 in four divisions, from ages 7 to 15+.

Bathurst Council is calling for public feedback on the draft Bathurst Region Active Transport Strategy, which proposes a 30km/h speed limit in sections of the CBD.

And, a Family Planning Australia course is aiming to train more doctors and nurses in Bathurst, giving locals more contraceptive healthcare options closer to home.
