The Bathurst Community Climate Action Network will host a talk from Councillor Elaine West on Thursday on who should pay for the growing costs of natural disasters.
There’s a push to bring back a motion to Council which, if passed, would have Council writing to the Federal Environment Minister calling for a tax on fossil fuel exporters for a climate fund.
