We’ve all heard about the housing squeeze and how interest rates are rising and rental vacancy rates are very low- but spare a thought for the people who are pushed out of the market altogether, and the volunteers who support them.
Vinnies Vans provide meals, blankets, toiletries, hot beverages, and companionship for people who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
And to support the service, locals are being invited to join in the Community Sleepout at the Orange Uniting Church tonight- an event which has already raised over $33,000.
