Wattle Tree House Raising Awareness of August Homelessness Support Event

Wattle Tree House is overhauling its annual homelessness and domestic violence support services event to be run during the day in August, instead of overnight, to open up accessibility to more people.

The event will look to bring services together so people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness can see what supports are available.

Bathurst Council is in discussions with Supercars about potentially introducing at least one new event in the Bathurst 1000 come October, in an attempt to stagger visitor departures via Lithgow.

And, Blayney Council is inviting local tourism operators to provide feedback which will guide decision making on marketing and industry priorities.
