Mark Greenhill has been re-elected as the Blue Mountains Mayor, making him one of the longest running politicians in the region. For a decade before his service as Mayor, Greenhill was the councillor for the Glenbrook – Lapstone district.
Mayor Greenhill has been praised over social media sites like Facebook for his handling of the 2019-2020 bushfire season, when the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains were under threat from several destructive blazes.
