Parts of the central west were turned into a winter wonderland on Sunday, providing locals and tourists with a magical winter playground.
Snow covered Mount Canobolas in Orange, after a low pressure trough brought about rain.
Together with the 4.4 millimetres of rain and incredibly chilly conditions, snow was born.
Although the feels-like temperature was sub zero, Orange reached a top of 4.8 degrees Celcius on Sunday just after 1pm.
The bureau of meteorology on Monday released a warning to Sheep graziers of expected cold temperatures, showers and southerly winds.
NSW Farmers Executive Councillor, Bruce Reynolds, says there is a risk of losing lambs and sheep from exposure to these conditions.
