New restrictions introduced to Melbourne amid COVID-19 pandemic

Coronavirus is a constantly changing situation with restrictions consistently being updated to adapt to current circumstances.

On Sunday 2nd August a variety of new restrictions were introduced to metropolitan Melbourne.

Among the restrictions include a curfew with certain times people can leave their house. This rule has exceptions surrounding it.

There are changes to the ways people are allowed to shop and exercise as new rules are put in place.

Wearing a face covering was made compulsory throughout Victoria with exceptions applying.
