NSW COVID-19 rules and social distancing

From Friday 24th July there will be a range of rules in place throughout NSW including the number of people allowed at weddings and funerals as well as the absence of dancing and singing from weddings amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition, the current rules which apply to NSW pubs, concerning the number of people who can be accepted for group bookings, will also be in effect in cafes, clubs, restaurants and bars.

A Blue Mountains resident discusses her concerns that people are being complacent with social distancing as she has noticed groups of people gathering in the main streets of Katoomba and Blackheath despite the risk this poses for the potential spread of coronavirus.
